Posted : 9 years, 10 months ago on 21 May 2014 12:44 (A review of White House Down)

The most unconvincinig president ever..more concerned about his Nike Air Jordan's that the White House and Friends being blown to bits.....Cringe worthy. Olympus Has Fallen was much better.

Reaching the finale of this excellent Sci-Fi series, watching the plots, and mythology from the previous four seasons unfolding, remained highly captivating...Was almost a shame to see the final episode of this awesome series...that's brilliant characters, Story & visual effects had me continually wanting to see more.

brother's war

Posted : 14 years, 10 months ago on 20 May 2009 12:00 (A review of Brother's War)

Truely awful. The suffering of war is not played out on the battlefield but in your seat trying to manage the entirety of ever torturous minute. So bad its almost comical....Gives B movies a bad name.

The Black Hole

Posted : 15 years ago on 11 March 2009 12:41 (A review of The Black Hole)

An Excellent, uncomplicated 1970's Sci-fi film with good special effects for that era. Disney's first PG rated film....provides an entertaining story, about the space travelling crew aboard shuttle Palomino that unintentionally stumble across a long lost spaceship the Cygnus and unwittingly become involved in the resident insane genius 'Dr Hans Reinhardt's', intentions of entering a Black Hole. Although being a bit weak, the story was made more enjoyable by the superb robots, V.I.N.C.E.N.T. and B.O.B who were lovable, looked very realistic and portrayed the good of humanity as opposed to the unforgettable Evil Maximilian robot created by Dr Hans Reinhardt...which was quite possibility the most frightening robot from that generations childhood memories along sides the Daleks.

Man On Fire

Posted : 15 years ago on 11 March 2009 08:28 (A review of Man on Fire)

Aptly described as the mother of all revenge movies. This excellent Tony Scott directed adrenaline roller-coaster of vengeance, with superb sound track and visual effects....shows Denzel at his best, and puts this film in a class of its own.
